The 30th Anniversary of the Cooley Collins Traditional Music 
Festival will take place on the October bank holiday weekend in Gort, Co.Galway. As part of the celebrations, on Saturday 25th October in Sullivan’s Hotel at 4pm they will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the Largest Irish Band.
The Tunes that will be played are:
– The Kerry Polka
– Rattling Bog
– Maggie in the Woods.
They are required to be played continuously until four minutes are up. It promises to be a fantastic weekend and a great opportunity to get yourself into the Guinness Book of World Records!
